The women’s movement from the early 1960’s onward achieved significant changes in the status of women in our country. Women and their allies fought for recognition and equality and the right to have autonomy in decisions regarding their bodies.  The introduction of the birth control pill provided women with greater control over their reproductive process.  

When women unite and find allies for the preservation of all their rights the ship called democracy rises for everyone’s rights to be upheld and supported.  Government becomes inclusionary   Women successfully struggle against a prevailing patriarchy of a society and laws that reflect that bias against women. 

This bias and imposed restrictions rob women of the dignity and equality guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Since 1920, under the 19th amendment when women won the right to vote, we have a way to make our voices heard.  The voting booth is a key to our upholding our rights, a place to achieve equality and justice.  

WAGA is sharing its video campaign far and wide to reach as many women and their allies as possible.  During launch week for the video, it received hundreds of thousands of views on Tik Tok.  This is phenomenal, organically-driven traffic.  Views on YouTube continue to accumulate.  Help us grow the WAGA WAVE!
